We actually had two Dakotas at our booth at the SEMA Show, as well as two Lincoln Continentals. It's not as though we were planning for some type of symmetry. It was a chance occurrence. What wasn't chance was why they were all there. And that was because there was a talented builder behind each vehicle. This R/T is owned by Tim Ferguson. Tim, who was also at our Show n Shine in Arizona, has been customizing cars since 1983 (he had that one lowered and added a stereo system, like every other veh

Seriously, we were feeling OK about our compact cars with multiple 10" subs. Obviously, he's one of those extreme car audio nuts. For him it's not a hobby or an art or experiment in science. L.A. Auto Show Gallery
Of all the carmakers at the L.A. Auto Show with alternative fuel vehicles, the one getting the least amount of press is probably Fisker. And I say that because they're not a mainstream OE and they don't build cars for mainstream consumers. That doesn't stop everyone at the show and stopping by their small but classy booth with the amazing plug-in hybrid electric Karma model on display for everyone to envy.

The JBLs suffered from a depressing lack of critical midrange detail. Desktop Audio Upgrade

I needed some new speakers for my desktop computer system at home. I've been tolerating JBL creature 2.1 system for a couple of years now and I'd finally had enough. The JBLs suffered from a depressing lack of critical midrange detail. This, coupled with the fact that the kids now hog the main system in the front room, means that I can't get access to my iTunes library readily.
